Our Houses

The old school in Zethau was converted in 1994 into the out-of-school youth recreation centre Grünen Schule. For youth meetings, school trips, project days, club, company and family events, our house with a total of 70 beds is at your disposal. In addition to the hostel area, our house has a nature experience room, a cinema (70 seats), several seminar rooms (30 seats), a cafe (25 seats) and a fireplace room (45 seats).

In the summer of 2010, the Green School expanded the former primary school in Zethau into a stone bush house. The Steinbuschhaus is used :

as a nature media centre,

for sophisticated music and cultural offerings,

for extracurricular and international - primarily German-Czech - youth education and encounter programmes as well as for lifelong learning programmes.

Since 2010 we have been expanding the nearby BHG (formerly: Bäuerliche Handels-Genossenschaft) to the meeting house of generations and nations especially for events with premises for 30 to 150 people.
